The site at Bridgeton Cross is adjacent to the redeveloped Olympia Building and just under 0.5 Hectare in size. It was previously occupied by derelict warehouses and a relocated supermarket prior to the structures being demolished in 2010. Clyde Gateway had considered a number of potential options for its future use and concluded that the proposals for an urban city housing development from Link Group Ltd offered the best solution. Link acquired the site in 2016 and developed 68 homes for social rent. Set across four apartment blocks all varying in scale the collection of affordable homes includes 24 amenity properties, six of which were designed for and built with wheelchair access in mind.
