About
The development of this formerly vacant and derelict 14 hectare site got underway in 2010 with the aim of providing a sustainable, high-quality environment to attract and support growing businesses in the manufacturing, engineering and logistic sectors. Located adjacent to junction 2A of the M74 motorway, it is regarded as one of the prime industrial locations across central Scotland due to its connectivity and the high quality environment created. Clyde Gateway East is one of the few locations where industrial units have been built speculatively in recent years and has been extremely successful in attracting high quality businesses. It all contributes to the wider transformation of Clyde Gateway, creating new opportunities for local businesses and people. To date private sector developers such as MEPC, Aberdeen Standard Developments and Harris Finance have supported Clyde Gateway in delivering some 23,225 sq m (250,000 sq ft) of development for occupiers including BT, Dentec Scotland, Cusack, Glacier Energy Services Holdings, Greencore Food to Go, Network Rail, Eden Mill, SBS, Torishima Service Solutions Europe and DHL Global.
